At EVA, we believe practice makes perfect. There is no shortcut in volleyball just like there is no shortcut in life. Mastering fundamental skills requires time and patience. We provide the best quality coaching to every player at every level. We are teaching not only volleyball skills, but also perseverance, determination, commitment and team work. Success is not random. Coaches, teamwork, talent, attitude, commitment and hard work are the building blocks for a team to succeed and provide the athlete the opportunity to seize moments and excel on the court.

Dina - Master Coach
Dina started playing volleyball when she was eight. By age 16, she had become a pro-volleyball player in China. In her nearly 20 years of professional volleyball career, Dina accomplished what most athletes dreamed of. She was both a phenomenal beach and indoor player. On the beach front, Dina finished 25th in 1997 FIVB World Tour and her team was one of the best in China. Coming to indoor volleyball, as the team captain and main setter for the Tianjin Bridgestone Women's Volleyball Club, Dina led the team to numerous national championship titles and medals at the international tournaments including, 7 national championships in the National Volleyball League Tournaments and three gold medals at Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship (AVC). Dina represented China in the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Dina was chosen as one of the torch bearers to the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China. She was considered one of the best female athletes in China in both indoor and beach volleyball.

Victoria - Club Director
Victoria is an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank where she is responsible for key client relationships within the institutional client service division. Since graduating BA (Hons) from the University of Wolverhampton in England, she has spent over 20 years working in the investment banking industry both in Europe and the USA. Victoria has been intimately involved in the sport of volleyball both at High School and National Club level for the past 5 years. She served as parent captain for 2 consecutive years for the Greenwich High School girls’ varsity team.
Her passion for the sport combined with the skills acquired during her successful banking career will help her to steer EVA to a recognized elite sports academy.

Sheena - Head Coach
Sheena was selected to play volleyball at one of the Chinese sports schools. She received a full-ride volleyball scholarship from Brigham Young University Hawaii (BYUH) in 1991. Sheena led her team in winning two consecutive NAIA National Championships in 1992 and 1993. Graduating as a salutatorian from BYUH, Sheena went to pursue her MBA at the University of Connecticut. While she was a graduate student, Sheena started coaching club volleyball at Connecticut Junior. After graduate school, Sheena worked in one of the premier investment banks on Wall Street. In 2009, Sheena worked with Coach Dina to start a youth volleyball development program.
